INE Stratus

200 Mbps Multi-Segmented Network EmulatorINE-Stratus-GUI-in-Monitor-thumb

iTrinegy Network Emulator-Stratus (INE Stratus) is a high specification, yet low cost, mid-range network emulator that enables you to create highly realistic replications of multi-segmented network paths in which to test application performance. It is supplied on either a 1U short depth rack-mount or fanless bookform chassis

Path Segmentation Adds Greater Realism

INE-Stratus uses the concept of virtual interfaces (VIs) or  “network links” to represent an emulated network segment. You can configure a number of parameters that affect the traffic flows to emulate a specific network segment. The setting for network path can be saved for easy retrieval later.

Traffic entering any of INE-Stratus’s physical interfaces passes through, and is influenced by, each network link defined in a route before finally exiting another physical interface.

Asynchronous links can be created by adjusting network link parameters with each network direction having different characteristics applied to it, in order to create a realistic network environment.

Timed Scenarios

It is also possible to have network characteristics dynamically change over time to more closely emulate real world conditions.

Reporting, Graphing and Data Export

Graphical and tabular reports are available and INE-Stratus can produce log files of the dataflow through each interface of the Emulator in CSV format, for importing into other applications such as spreadsheets.

Emulated Networks

INE Stratus can emulate a wide range of networks including:

  • WAN Circuits (T1, E1, T3 etc...)
  • Cloud Networks
  • Satellite Networks
  • Mobile/Wireless networks (LTE, 3G, GPRS, Edge, WiFi, WiMax)
  • (A)DSL, (S)DSL
  • Point-to-Point e.g ATM or Leased Line
  • Routed networks (including MPLS)
  • Wireless LANs
  • VLANs
