A Live CD is a disc that contains both the application software and a bootable computer operating system. The attractions of supplying our AppQoS Live! and INE Companion Live! products in this format include:

Until now networked application performance monitoring and network profiling has been typically delivered using high-cost appliances, but iTrinegy has taken its AppQoS and INE Companion products and delivered them as Live CDs, which transform any standard 64-bit laptop/desktop/rack-mount computer into a fully functioning application monitoring tool without requiring software installation.
Works on Industry-Standard Hardware
The application will run on any manufacturer's hardware without altering the operating system or files already installed on the computer, so it will work on a computer running any variety of UNIX or Windows (XP, Vista, Server 2003, Windows 7).
No Software To Be Installed - Available In Seconds
There is no need to install any software - simply place the Live CD into the CD drive, reboot the machine and the application is ready to use. Any data gathered by AppQoS Live! or INE Companiom Live! can be stored in a folder on any existing hard drive or on other writeable or flash media such a USB stick or SD card.
Once you have finished with the application, close it down, remove it from the CD drive and re-boot the machine which will revert to its normal operating state afterwards.
Simple Upgrade Path
The Live CD approach makes product upgrades quick and easy. Just insert the latest version of the CD into your machine and it’s ready for use. No need to de-install older versions or overwrite existing versions as you would need to do with installed software.
