Itheon Networks rebranded as iTrinegy

The Networked Application Performance Lifecycle Specialists enters a new and exciting phase in the company's development.
Cambridge, UK, and Reno, Nevada, USA, 6th February 2008, — Itheon Networks, the Networked Application Performance Lifecycle™ experts, are pleased to announce their re-branding to iTrinegy. This is part of the company’s strategy of establishing a strong and unique identity as it continues to enjoy the expansion it experienced throughout 2006/07.
Over the last two years, the newly named iTrinegy has experienced phenomenal growth within their offices in both the UK and USA. Frank Puranik Product Director for iTrinegy explains “We’ve outgrown our offices and today we feel it’s time to go forward with a name that represents a company at the cutting edge of the testing and monitoring market. We have an aggressive timetable of new product releases and upgrades scheduled for 2008 developed in-line with the needs of our customers and the industry, and renaming our company underlines a new era of continued growth and change for us.”
The UK move to offices near Cambridge, which is a renowned technology centre of excellence, allows iTrinegy to recruit within a good pool of IT specialists, and with close links to Stansted Airport, the move allows iTrinegy to meet the increased demand for their products in Europe.
“The US operation has also expanded in response to the very strong demand for our network emulation and application performance monitoring technology,” continues Frank. “With the extra development and support specialists we have taken onboard in the USA, we needed to move into larger premises in Reno.”
iTrinegy’s customer base has grown within the enterprise with companies such as Chevron and many large corporate banks such as ABN Amro (part of the Royal Bank of Scotland group) helping to spring board iTrinegy into a new sphere of growth as a leader in application performance testing across the WAN. With product development on both sides of the Atlantic, iTrinegy is well placed to service its clients in North America and the UK. The new UK office location offers a distinct advantage in working its European customers.
iTrinegy continues to be at the centre of innovation in application testing across the WAN, working closely with companies in the US and UK in helping to create a wide variety of network characteristics that enable the testing of applications during the development, testing and pre-deployment phases.
iTrinegy has been short listed for the Network Computing Magazine’s Network Product of the year awards, a testament to the growing popularity of their innovative solutions and in particular their Portable Network Consultant (PNC) - now iTrinegy AppQoS, a non-intrusive, all-in one solution for resolving networked application performance and Quality of Service issues.
