New Rental Options Now Available for Network Emulation and Performance Monitoring Tools
"Rent-to-Buy" pricing options make it easier to overcome budget constraints
Cambridge, UK, and Reno, Nevada, USA, January 21st 2009, — iTrinegy, the Networked Application Performance Lifecycle™ experts, is pleased to announce a new rental program providing organizations with the option to rent iTrinegy’s class-leading products. iTrinegy’s network emulation and performance monitoring solutions are used by customers worldwide, helping them to ensure the success of applications developed for deployment on wide-area production networks.
Customers can now put these important network and application deployment testing tools to work immediately, through iTrinegy’s innovative rental program which includes “rent-to-buy” options. This applies to both iTrinegy’s INE Network Emulator products and its AppQoS Networked Application Performance and Usage monitoring tools.
Frank Puranik, Product Director for iTrinegy notes that “In the current economic climate, companies are finding that their capital expenditure budgets are being closely scrutinized, frozen and in some cases cut. While the holding back of funds by corporations in these uncertain times could be viewed as prudent, at the same time they still need to continue offering a good business service.” Frank continues “With this in mind, we are introducing attractive rental pricing models across our product range so that we can help companies ensure their applications will work well in the network before and after roll-out.”
With many applications expected to work in Wide Area Networks (WAN), over Wireless Networks (3G/Edge/GPRS, public Wi-Fi), via Satellite links and over Radio networks, the ability to conduct comprehensive pre-deployment testing of application performance and develop in the correct network environment is paramount. The use of iTrinegy network emulation technology, has already been shown to very effective at saving organizations money, as it eliminates the chance of rollout failure due to network conditions and, where companies develop their own software, the need for retrospective and expensive code rewrites and fixes. Equally, the ability to rapidly spot how an application is performing and being used in the production network, through the use of tools such as iTrinegy AppQoS, means support teams can keep user downtime to a minimum.
Frank concludes “This new rental model means organizations don't have to delay deployment of technologies that help them address the issue of networked application performance and save money. A huge plus of our rental model is that any rental fees paid will not be wasted as initial rental expenditure can count towards a purchase, if and when organizations make the decision to purchase one of our products for permanent use.”
